St.Cuthbert Mayne Catholic Junior School: Clerk to Governors

Overview

All Saints Catholic Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body at  St. Cuthbert Mayne Catholic Junior School to commence as soon as possible. The role is for 96 hrs per year (to be worked as required), term-time only, to provide administrative and secretarial support to Governors. 

Hay Pay Scale H8, point 26. Actual salary £2,007 per annum (£18.41 per hour)

This role comes with an opportunity to build a portfolio of schools as the Trust continues to grow and offers significant flexibility in working patterns, as well as opportunities for professional development working with the developing Trust Governance team.

The successful candidate will be highly organised and professional, with a flexible approach to working patterns as this role requires the ability to accommodate fluctuating workload throughout the academic year. Meetings are usually held in schools in the early evenings although some Committee meetings may be held remotely, and administrative tasks may be carried out at home.

Previous experience of similar work would be advantageous but whilst experience and knowledge of how schools and governing bodies operate is desirable, training will also be provided.
