Thinking of joining our Trust

The All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Trust has a vision for Catholic education that goes beyond our individual schools and changes our perceptions to enable all member schools of the trust to benefit from our collective strengths. 

Each school within out Trust is of equal value; we respect the unique identity of each school and value the diversity of experience and perspective they bring: each school is given a voice, though the arrangements for local governance and their relationship with the Trust Board and we ensure decisions are made at the most appropriate level, rather than being imposed from above.

Every half term our Headteachers meet on a regular basis, as a sub-group of the wider learning community providing mutual support, opportunities to share best practice and identify areas for future development.This enables us to respond to the individual and collective needs of our schools that ensures together, we create the capacity within our schools to provide a world class Catholic education for children from 3 to 18. 


What can you expect when joining us?

There are increasing accountability, financial and resource pressures on schools and academies. ASCAT takes responsibility for the financial and resource management of schools, thus freeing school leaders to concentrate on what matters: the spiritual formation and education of the young people in our schools. We are committed to safeguarding the distinctive Catholic ethos of our schools by placing Christ and the teachings of the Catholic Church at the centre of all we do.

Trust leaders use their experience, knowledge and professional judgement to overcome challenges and by working together, find solutions and share best practice across the Trust’s Learning Community.

As a Trust we have already negotiated contracts offering our academies better value for money such as Payroll, MIS and Finance Systems and Management, Risk Assessment and audit. We are currently exploring catering, statutory testing, facilities management, IT support and utility contracts.

The Trust has already in place CPD programme for NQTs and Aspiring Leaders and host an annual Trust Development Day.

Efficiency savings are also achieved from some administrative functions being managed centrally;

  • Benefit from a standardised HR and payroll system/partner
  • Trust-wide policies and processes
  • Be able to resource where leaders, teachers and other staff could be shared across more than one academy where required to find solutions to teaching or recruitment challenges
  • School Improvement resources and support
  • Shared Executive Leadership and Area Business Management for cluster academies
  • Strong progressive governance framework and programme in place to support the Trust, academies, governors and clerks
